Paint...and general finish.

It's early in the game so I might change my mind. Currently, I'm leaning hard toward an off-white paint with vinyl accents. I've seen a few Nines finished this way and I'm impressed with the looks. I also think it's something I can do relatively inexpensively. I'm looking at a deep maroon red and dark blue swoosh for an accent but that's liable to change.

I've also been thinking of a name for the plane. I've seen "Borrowed Horse" and found the name appealing for reasons I can't explain. A number of other planes take sanity and therapy and build it into the name. Cute but not applicable here. As a play on words I've considered "Air-a-parent" and as a Southerner I've considered several options incorporating the word Southern such as Southern Serenity. I'm not fully decided but since the RV-9A is a cross country plane and since it'll be based very near Richmond, VA, it only seems appropriate to call it Traveler after Robert E. Lee's horse.
