RV Jazz -Lights

This was probably the most minimalistic approach to lighting I've seen. It's unfortunate that he'll never have to change the bulb because access couldn't be much easier.

Same idea but this fellow will have a bulb to change, occasionally. Clearly higher maintenance.;-)

I thought the workmanship on this one was good. I wondered about the screw size and the lack of beauty washers but it looked practical and well done.

I'm not an engineer but this set up looks functional and practical. I'm just speculating but the first two builders would probably consider this light cover over engineered.

This just fascinates me. I'm from the form follows function school and I expect this builder is from the function must fit the form school. On a positive note, it does appear that he's got easy access.

More fascination. This builder changed the size and shape of the plastic lens cover for no discernable reason. I have to blame Van for this kind of modification. Clearly he made the kit too easy to build and this fellow (and the previous gentleman) had too much time left and needed something to do.

I really liked this one but I did wonder if it all nine of the screws (plus those on the bottom) were really needed.

Clearly, someone else thought nine screws were needed to keep the plastic cover on in flight. Did you wonder what the empty weight of this plane (or the previous one) was? Could there be a corrolation between weight and details like this? I don't know for sure but I do wonder occasionally.
